We work out the logic before the code. Every SEMANTICHOR agent begins as a complete normative specification — its decisions, boundaries, evidence and failure modes settled in full — before a single line is written. “Logic Before Code” is not a slogan; it is our method, and it is the product: what we publish is the worked-out logic, ready to build.

·What you build is yours

A specification is a document you read, build on your own stack, and run for as long as you choose. The implementation you build is yours outright — your code, your builds, your deployments; SEMANTICHOR claims no ownership over any of it, and nothing in it phones home or renews. The Verified Rehydration Agent is released in full, free of charge, to download and inspect end to end.

·Agents that run wherever you do — including on your own model

Every specification is execution-neutral: it fixes the logic and leaves the runtime to you. The same agent can be built in any language, on any stack, on infrastructure you control — including on a large local model you host yourself, with nothing required to leave your premises. This is not something we ask you to take on trust. For the Verified Rehydration Agent, five paradigm-isolated reconstructions — Python, Rust, Prolog, C and Bash — were built from the specification alone and run live, every binary recorded by hash.

·One source of truth for every team

One specification serves every role that touches the system. Developers, testers, security reviewers, auditors and systems engineers work from the same artifact — none of them rewrites it into their own language. Every realization — code, tests, formal models, policies — derives from that one specification: a change is made in the specification, and each realization is rebuilt from it, so what is written and what runs share one origin. Every artifact traces back to the normative rule it realizes. This is why a small team can build and maintain a system that spans many languages and many formalisms — and why a new member reads the agent's real behavior from the specification itself, not from a stack of secondary documents.

·Promises stated precisely — and demonstrated

We state precise promises — what each agent decides, on what authority, with what evidence, and how it fails — and we demonstrate them rather than assert them. Each released agent's whitepaper is free to read: it names the problem, the failure modes, and the guarantees. Every guarantee is a structural property of the specification, bound under a single hash-attested manifest; the five-paradigm reconstruction is published alongside as observational evidence. We let the work carry the argument.

·An independent research startup
