1Who we are (the controller)

This website is operated by SEMANTICHOR S.R.L., a company established in Romania (trade register no. J2026056162004, EUID ROONRC.J2026056162004, unique registration code 55646182, registered office: Calea Națională nr. 66, sc. C, et. 4, ap. 16, Municipiul Botoșani, Județul Botoșani, Romania). The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Romanian Law no. 190/2018 apply to our processing.

2What we process

• Delivery and security data. When you visit the site or download a file, our hosting provider processes technical data — your IP address, browser type, the pages and files requested, and the time of the request — to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
• License acceptance. The two confirmations you give before downloading a package are made in your browser. They are not transmitted to us or stored, and no account is required.
• Email. If you write to us, we process your email address, the content of your message, and any details you choose to include.
• What we do not process. The site has no analytics, advertising or tracking, no forms and no checkout, and it loads its fonts from this site.

3Why, and on what legal basis

• Delivering and securing the site: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Answering your emails: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)), or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

4Providers we use

• Hosting, CDN and DNS: Cloudflare, Inc.
• Email: Google Ireland Limited (Google Workspace).

They process personal data on our behalf under data-processing terms.

5International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Such transfers rely on an appropriate safeguard: the provider's certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details.

6Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to verify that a request is not automated.

7How long we keep data

Hosting logs are kept by our provider only as long as needed for delivery and security. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.

8Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. To exercise any of them, write to privacy@semantichor.com.

9Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro) or with the supervisory authority in your EU/EEA country.

10Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The current version and its date are shown at the top of this page.
